Imagine having your portrait created in the hallmark Wall Street Journal Hedcut style, by the original artist who developed this iconic style, so widely recognized around the world. It’s easier than you might think. I’ve been producing these portraits for many years now. My clients are diverse: Fortune 500 Companies, Advertising agencies, Publishers, Design & Communications firms, and People in Small Business. Now you can commission a portrait, personally crafted by me, of yourself, distinguished associates, or a loved one. In addition to giving your image/visage a distinctive edge in various print and publication environments, my portraits are eminently suitable for use on the web. You can display your portrait in the avatar or picture box on your website, blog, Myspace, Facebook, or Twitter. Give yourself a unique presence, in print and on the web with a one-of-a-kind portrait from Kevin Sprouls, creator of the Wall Street Journal portrait style. The details: Please email Kevin for the current pricing on your wall street journal-style portrait. All rights and the original art board are delivered to you, one scan will be produced if you need a digital file, and overnight shipping of the art is free. I will also include a signed certificate that the work is from my hand, on request. This identifies me as the originator of the wsj portrait style. The original art image typically measures 3.5 x 5.5″ and is intended to reproduce at 30-40% of this size. Complete reproduction instructions are included on the cover over the original art board. These tips will tell you how to get the best results in print and on the web for your portrait. Turnaround time depends on the quantity of portraits you need, my workload, etc., but I am fairly adept at meeting deadlines. The portraits are solely crafted by me, by hand, and do take considerable time to produce. Turnaround time for a single portrait is typically one week. To start the process, you would send me a photograph of the subject —a pic that is well-lit and clear works best. You can email the photo to me in jpeg format, or tiff, psd, eps, etc. I can handle just about all file formats. File should be at 150 dpi or higher for a 5×7″ image. Please make sure to include your shipping info and contact number with your request. I do the rest. You’ll receive my invoice with the artwork at the end of the project. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have… and, Thanks for your interest in my work, —Kevin kevin@sprouls.com Ph: 609 965-4795 |
